First attempt at loading pictures for Hawaii.

Sure, we could send these to you, but why pass up a shot at this. Look at the giant can of macadamia nuts! First stop on the Big Island tour.

Next you see the crater of volcano, lots of steam and stinky sulfur pits!





So, then we looked at the volcano, from another angle.

It was still amazingly sparse and what not.

This is where they practiced the driving the lunar vehicles before they went to the moon. Years later OJ Simpson proved that man never really landed on the moon in his ground-breaking movie Capricorn One. He would later go on and kill his ex-wife and her friend. This has nothing to do with this trip but it is still somewhat interesting.



Then we had to march across the craters

The bus driver made us get out and look for bugs to eat for lunch. He apparently thought the stop and the nut farm would fill us up.

We had to restore our health by eating a lot of cheesecake that night on the ship.



Then less a mile away - Jungle tour!


The craziness of the wet side of the island and the dry side of the island was apparent when just a few hundred yards put us right in the jungle.

We went into a hike into the a path to see a lava tube. The pictures I have are not very good in a small picture. Plus, I am waiting for legal clearance to show the picture where a women from Macon, Ga was eaten by a bear.
